Our experienced media agency in Columbia, MO knows that digital marketing for agribusiness is no longer optional. The farmers of today & tomorrow are ONLINE. Sure the old ways work, but to expand requires innovation. That’s where meeting clients online where they spend their time today will unlock a new wave of growth. Our team in Columbia has studied digital marketing for agribusiness, and with over 68% of rural Americans on Facebook and 73% on YouTube, now is the time to develop a winning video marketing strategy.
We show our clients how to leverage the power of video and social media marketing to get the results they want online.
Working with brands such as MFA Oil, National Biodiesel Board, Valley Wide Cooperative, United Soybean Board, US Wellness Meats, Missouri Beef Council, and Ursa Farmers Cooperative, our Columbia team understands digital marketing for agribusiness in a way that few other agencies do.
“Cosmic Sauce worked with us to not only produce a great video, but also develop a strategic distribution plan for our content. They met with us and walked us through ways to make the most of our investment by creating a targeted campaign to reach our audience. Their expertise has been invaluable.”
The Missouri Beef Council’s mission is to drive the demand for beef in the state of Missouri. Looking into the new year, Missouri Beef Council wanted to reach millennial moms (ages 23-38) with messaging that resonated with this audience and encouraged these moms to include beef in their shopping decisions.
There are approximately 2 Million women on Instagram and Facebook who are 23-38 in the state of Missouri. Through social media marketing we were able to get laser focused and only put our message in front of those in the age group who had children in the home. Which narrowed our audience to 80,000 Millennial Moms.
We were able to reach our audience at a CPM (cost to reach 1000 people) of $5.78 – comparing that to a direct mail CPM of $57 and a broadcast TV CPM of $28, this was a huge win for Missouri Beef Council.
Because Missouri Beef’s marketing strategy includes sharing recipe content, distributing our content on the Pinterest platform made perfect sense. 84% of the Pinterest platform is women ages 25-34 and we were able to narrow our focus to an audience of 300,000 women who met our Millennial Mom definition.
More importantly we reached over 205,000 Millennial Moms at a CPM (cost to reach 1000 people) of $5.21. Again, amazing results for Missouri Beef Council compared to traditional marketing methods.
